FAQ’S

  • All props & surfaces will be rented to you at a flat rate for up to 1 week. Any rentals beyond 1 week will be charged an extension fee of 10% of the total rental cost per additional day.

    Example: $100 worth of items are rented. If the items are returned 1-7 days later the cost would remain $100. If the items are returned 8 days later the total cost would be $110, the total cost for 9 days later it would be $120…

  • If given enough information the Prop Up Shop team can provide a free estimate with line items in the form of a PDF. Many renters like to stop by our studio in person ahead of their shoot to scope out our collection, to pull items aside and can receive an estimate (set up an appointment). The rental can come at a later date with items added or subtracted from the original estimate.

    If you prefer to send photos of props or surface names from our online collection we can also build your estimate from that information.

  • All payments are processed securely online through Square. Square accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. Rentals must total at least $100.

    For To-Go Rentals: payment in full is required the day you collect your items.

    For Studio Rentals: we require a 50% deposit to hold your date(s). The remaining payment is due the day of your rental.

    For Deliveries & Prop Pulling Services: A deposit payment is required to cover the total hours estimated for prop pulling and the delivery fee. The remainder for the prop/surface total and pick-up fee is due on the day of delivery.

  • We require that you review and sign our Prop & Surface Rental Agreement prior to renting any props, surfaces, or backdrops. We also require you to fill out our Credit Card Authorization Form which we keep on file in the event of any damages or extended rentals beyond the agreed timeline. In order to rent the studio we have a separate Studio Rental Agreement to be filled out

    We provide these forms via email or in person prior to your rental.

  • Can’t stop by yourself? No problem – The Prop Up Shop team offers remote prop pulling services. We require a strong creative brief that includes a shot list, mood boards and any other pertinent information. After making an initial selection we share a pdf with images & formal estimate for your review. We charge a rate of $75/hour for our curatorial services.

  • No, we currently don’t rent cameras or lighting. However hourly studio rentals include full access to our shooting space, prop collection and basic photo equipment!

  • The majority of our surfaces are handmade and/or hand-painted by the prop up shop team. Each are completely one-of-a-kind. Note that our surfaces come in various shapes and sizes and are priced accordingly. View the collection here.

  • Limonata Creative is not responsible for any damages sustained to any props, surfaces or backdrops during your rental. We take photos of all our items each time they are rented. If any item comes back in anything less than the condition it was rented at you will be charged a fee for repair and/or the cost of the item itself.

  • Prop Up Shop is not open daily and visits are by appointment only. Please Contact Us to set up a studio visit.

Delivery Rates

  • Stop by our studio in Woodberry Baltimore to pick up or drop off your items for no additional fee.

  • Pick-Up is an additional $75.

  • Pick-Up is an additional $150.

  • Pick-Ups are an additional $150.
